About Us
Tabernacle Presbyterian Church came into existence through the grace of God expressed as a result of following a vision for planting churches in the Shenandoah Valley. This vision continues with our church today. Here at Tabernacle, two fundamental principles drive our ministry:
- God calls his Church to bring Him glory by going into all the world, as He came into the world in the incarnation of Jesus, bringing a message of new life and hope and enacting it to see people and whole communities changed, and
- That church planting is the greatest vehicle under Heaven to see this accomplished.
To that end we seek to be a church that lays aside our privileges and rights and goes into a broken world to see it renewed by the power of the Holy Spirit and to be a church that always has an eye to establishing more communities like Tabernacle across Waynesboro, Augusta County, and the world.
