Discipleship

The Discipleship Ministry Team at Tabernacle seeks to bless the people of the church by assisting them in their growth in the Christian faith as well as equipping them to be able to be a blessing to the broader community and world. The Discipleship Team is led by Frank Root and consists of the following coordinators:

David Sawyer (Children’s Christian Education). David oversees the Christian Education of our kids from age 3 to High School.

Don Bailey (Small Groups). Don oversess our ministry of small groups meeting throughout the area from September through May.

Janelle Elliott (WIC). Janelle coordinates a team that oversees Tabernacle’s Women in the Church.

Joel and Erin Spencer (Youth and Family). The Spencers coordinate our ministry to our middle and high school students.

Men’s Retreat

Tab’s Fall Men’s Retreat is coming! Friday evening October 2nd through Saturday evening October 3rd the Tabernacle men will be heading up to “The Forge” on Afton mountain for a time of spiritual growth and fellowship. Our speaker this year is Mike Sharrett, pastor of Redeemer PCA in Lynchburg, Virginia. Mike will be speaking to us about Pride and Humility. Don’t miss this highly anticipated event.
