Missions

Tabernacle supports a variety of domestic and foreign missionaries and ministries.  A Missions Committee oversees the missions budget and communicates with missionaries in the field.

Short-term Mission Trips have been organized to both England and Ireland as well as to the Gulf Coast as part of the Hurricane Katrina disaster recovery.

The Orphan Hope ministry seeks to engage the church and community with caring for children to demonstrate the nature of a Christian’s adoption by our Heavenly Father and anticipate a day when all orphans will be embraced as a son or daughter.

What is an ‘Indigenous’ Missionary? It is Columbian Christians training local pastors in Columbia, Burmese Christians planting churches in Burma, and Iranian Christians evangelizing in Iran. Come find out more about indigenous missions during Sunday School on June 5th to hear an overview of Advancing Native Missions, some of Tabernacle’s past involvement with this ministry, and opportunities available now to partner with the Body of Christ around the world. All ages welcome.
