“Jesus and Homosexuality” is a deliberate title to this miniseries.
At stake here is discipleship—what does it look like to follow Jesus? How can we glorify Jesus by what we think and say and do regarding the issue of homosexuality?
Bringing Jesus into the discussion of homosexuality reminds us that this is not just a spiritual or religious issue. It keeps us honest. It keeps those who want to endorse homosexuality from wrapping it in a superficial spirituality of grace without truth and it keeps those who want to condemn homosexuality from using truth without grace as a justification for their anger and as a way to hide their fear.
