Resources

The following resources have been an encouragement to young adults in our church.  If you have books, Bible studies, podcasts, or other resources to recommend, contact the  Address Card  Taylor McPherson.

  • For the Little people...

Songs from the New City Catechism

Throughout the history of the church, Christians have used catechisms—collections of questions and answers designed for memorization and recitation—as a practical way to encourage Christian Formation. This fun, musical resource is a great way to introduce children to foundational truths about God, humanity, and the Law of God (Parents - I guarantee these songs will be stuck in your head...in the best kind of way...for eternity).

  • For the Listeners...

    Luther in Real Time
    by Ligonier Ministries

What was the Protestant Reformation about, anyway? This podcast puts you in Martin Luther’s footsteps from his heresy charges to his famous stand for the authority of God’s Word at the Diet of Worms. Learn Church history, see why the Reformation really mattered, and why it still matters today.

  • For the readers...

Golden Booklet of the True Christian Life by John Calvin

In this classic devotional, John Calvin urges readers to apply the Christian life in a balanced way to mind, heart, and hand. Rather than focusing on contemplative otherworldliness, the book stresses the importance of a devotedly active Christian life. This is a quick and immensely practical book.
