Our Beliefs

Jesus came so that we might truly live. His purpose was not only to save us from death, but to fill us so that we might overflow with new life!

At Tabernacle, we describe this from three angles—eternal life, internal life, and external life.

Eternal Life

Jesus came in order to restore our relationship with God. He hung on the cross to forgive our sins and He rose from the dead to give us new life.

By faith in Him, we can experience an eternity of blessing with God in His new creation, free from the curse of sin and death.

InterNAL LIFE

Our pride, lust, rage, and despair all result from a self-centered life. The universe wasn’t made to revolve around us.

But with Jesus at the center, our internal world becomes more peaceful and joyful as we learn to love and serve Him.

ExTERNAL LIFE

Jesus tells us to love our neighbor. Generosity, kindness, compassion, and forgiveness flow from a heart that has been renewed.

The gospel compels us to minister to the world around us in order to see God’s kingdom come and His will done “on earth as it is in heaven.”

We are a church that believes Jesus Christ is at the center of everything
and that His gospel ought to govern every aspect of our lives.

"To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy— to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore!" --Jude 24-25

Confessions & Creeds

Confessions and creeds are formal proclamations and explanations that lay out the foundation of our beliefs to clarify, study, and understand the intricacies along with respect for the mystery of faith.
